Welcome to DYSLEXIA VOICE TECHNIQUES

 The first thing you need to read is on the About page: Reading for meaning.  Additional explanations of dyslexia technqiues will be forthcoming.  I will soon publish, on this website, the book, Dyslexia Techniques and anyone can book a one-hour session with me for £45.  At the same time, if you know someone who is dyslexic and unable to read I am offering my services free until July 2025.  Free for anyone under 18 or for teaching assistants, SENCOs or teachers.   To them I will teach the vital techniques necessary for strong reading with comprehension.  I have been along to learn our nation's Synthetic Phonics.  It is great but does not take into account that the dyslexic learner can only learn by using their own voice.  You can say "E is for egg" to a dyslexic a hundred times and they will remember the "e" sound that day but not the next.  Instead, ask them to look at the word and say egg in different ways while looking at it and they will know it for ever.  One more thing:  learners need to know alphabet sounds before names and for this please go to the Junior Section where you can leave your learner to learn all their alphabet sounds with no further assistance:  just instruct them to us their voices to learn and model it for them.  Your dyslexic child has been learning to speak English at a miraculous rate (as is the case with all children).  Once they have permission to use their voices, they will be able to learn anything.

This is Felix, aged 10, interviewed with his mother, Sarah. By the time of this interview, you will hear from Sarah that he had become a keen writer, was picking up books and reading them of his own accord and needed no further dyslexia support. Felix is severely dyslexic and had been unable to read or write when he began work with me. By the time of this video, he understood voice techniques so well he could have been a dyslexia teacher in his own right.
